Acetate Cloth Tape

Acetate Cloth Tape is a thin (≈0.20 mm), hand-tearable electrical insulation tape made from an acetate-cloth backing coated with a pressure-sensitive  acrylic adhesive. It absorbs varnishes and resins, conforms easily to irregular shapes, and resists temperatures from –40 °C to 105 °C, making it ideal for coil wrapping, transformer and motor insulation, and wire-harness bundling.

● Excellent Conformability & Workability: Soft acetate cloth backing adapts to tight corners and complex geometries without wrinkling, speeding installation and ensuring complete coverage .

● Strong, Reliable Adhesion: Acrylic adhesive provides firm hold on wires, coils and components, even under vibration and handling.

● Wide Temperature Stability: Maintains dielectric strength and adhesion across –40 °F to 221 °F (–40 °C to 105 °C), suitable for demanding electrical environments.

● Resin-Absorptive Backing: Soaks up insulating varnishes for enhanced bond and long-term insulation quality.
